The Variant Advisory Mentorship Programme (“VAMP”) on a semi-annual basis (June & December), conducts a one-day entrepreneurial mentoring session focused on honing the business and leadership skills of existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. To qualify to partake in the session, participants are expected to meet any one of the under listed criteria:
- Possess a business idea that he/she if desirous of moving from conceptualisation to practical phase. The business idea may cover any sector of the economy.
- Pioneer a business that is still in early stage of start-up (infancy stage)
- Manage an existing business that he/she is seeking to move to the next level in terms of restructuring and business growth
- Full or part time workers keen on developing their entrepreneurial skills and competences.
The session which is highly interactive offers participants an opportunity to gain from the knowledge and experiences of the CEO of Variant Advisory- Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti, who is also the immediate past Managing Director/CEO of Skye Bank Plc, and his over three decade management and leadership experience.
Participants will also gain from insights and acumen of other business leaders and captains of industry in major industrial sectors, who will be engaged as speakers at the session. Topics covered at the session will range from macroeconomic analysis, business talks, and real life case studies. The session will also provide participants a platform to connect, build networks and share experiences.
The next mentorship session is scheduled for Tuesday June 28, 2016 at The Wheatbaker Hotel, No 4 Onitolo (Lawrence) Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The session is by invitation only to selected participants.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply to participate in the session by forwarding an updated CV, a brief profile on their existing business/business idea (if any), as well as their reason for wanting to participate in the mentorship session.
